PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Playa Del Carmen is one of the most attractive destinations in the Mexican Caribbean. It is located only 68 km from Cancun in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. Its tropical climate averages 77º F, although it can reach temperatures of 95º F during the summer with sunny days throughout most of the year.
In Playa Del Carmen you can participate in a wide variety of sports, as well as visit ecological parks like Xcaret and Xel-Ha, archeological ruins such as Tulum and Chichen Itza, or simply rest on one of our beautiful beaches.
At nighttime we recommend a walk down 5th Avenue, which is the most famous meeting spot in Playa Del Carmen. Here you will find all types of restaurants, bars and clubs with a cosmopolitan atmosphere, as well as shopping mall with clothes stores, jewelry stores and exclusive boutiques.

Ubicado en el corazón de la Riviera Maya, a 68 km al sur de Cancún, posee un clima semi-tropical, con una temperatura promedio de 25°C, aunque puede llegar a los 35°C durante el verano, con días soleados durante la mayor parte del año. En Playa del Carmen podrá practicar una gran variedad de deportes , así como visitar parques ecológicos como Xcaret y Xel-Há , Ruinas arqueológicas como lo es Tulum y Chichen Itza, o simplemente descansar en una de nuestras hermosas playas. Al caer la noche, recomendamos caminar por la Quinta Avenida, el punto de reunión más famoso de Playa del Carmen, donde abundan todo tipo de restaurantes, bares y clubes de ambiente cosmopolita, así como un centro comercial con tiendas de ropa, joyerías y boutiques exclusivas. |
Important information:
The hotel and its rooms are decorated with lively colors and Mexican details which create a very nice atmosphere. Pension San Juan is more than just a hotel, it will make you feel as though you’re at a friends home here in Mexico.
There’s no restaurant on the premises but we have a kitchen on the terrace of the third floor where you can have your morning coffee or if you like you can use the kitchen facilities to make your meals. Some of our quests prefer to go grocery shopping at one of the grocery stores which are very near, and prepare their own meals. The terrace closes at 22 hrs.
How to get there?
The Cancun International Airport is 40 minutes away. You can take a taxi or a bus from the Airport that brings you to Playa Del Carmen. The bus station is on the corner of 5th Avenue and Ave. Juarez, just 3 blocks from Pension San Juan. If you take a taxi, ask them to take you to 5th Avenue between 6 and 8 Streets and there you will find the hotel.
HOSPEDAJE
El hotel y las habitaciones están decorados con colores muy vivos y detalles mexicanos que crean una atmósfera muy agradable. Mas que en un hotel, Pensión San Juan lo hará sentir como en el hogar de un amigo aquí en México.
No contamos con restaurante pero tenemos una cocina en nuestra terraza del tercer nivel en donde podrá tomar su café cada mañana o si prefiere podrá utilizar las facilidades de la cocina para preparar sus alimentos.
Algunos huéspedes prefieren ir de compra a uno de los supermercados que quedan muy cerca y preparar sus comidas. La terraza se cierra a las 22:00 horas.
Como llegar:
El Aeropuerto Internacional de Cancún se encuentra a 40 minutos. Desde allí puede tomar un taxi o un Bus que le traerá a Playa del Carmen. La estación de Buses también esta en la quinta avenida con Ave. Juárez a solo tres bloques de Pensión San Juan. Si desea tomar un taxi pídale que lo lleve al numero 165 de la quinta avenida entre 6 y 8 y allí encontrara el Hotel Pensión San Juan
