At the present time, places well worth a visit are the Treasure Caves, famous for its cave paintirings, the Bezmeliana Fortress - one of the most highly- valued pieces of architecture in Europe, the Almenar towers situated on the Coast, and last, but by no means least, the fantastic sunny beaches.
Actualmente, son dignas de visitar la Cueva del Tesoro, por sus pinturas rupestres, la Casa Fuerte de Bezmeliana, de gran valor arquitectónico a nivel europeo, las torres almenaras situadas en la costa y, cómo no, sus fantásticas playas de sol.

Important information:
The local gastronomy is largely based on fish (sardines, jurel, "Victorian whitebat ..), but we should not forget the good muscatel wine nor the local dishes such as fried kid, migas (fried savoury hreadcrumbs) maimones soup (made with bread and olive oil) or grilled lamb.
The main local holiday is celebrated on the 16th july with the procession of the Virgen de Carmen, patron saint of fishermen, which takes place at night accompanies by nurmerous boats.
Sus turistas pueden disfrutar de la práctica de deportes como el golf, o los deporte náuticos, entre otros, en este municipio especialmente bien dotado de infraestructuras para la práctica de los mismos.
Su gastronomía se centra especialmente en el pescado (sardina, jurel, “boquerones victorianos”,...), pero sin menospreciar su buen vino moscatel y algunos platos propios, como el chivo frito, las migas, la sopa de maimones o el cordero a la brasa.
Su fiesta principal se celebra el 16 de Julio, con la procesión de la Virgen del Carmen, patrona de los pescadores, escoltada durante toda la noche por numerosas barcas.
