The Grand Resort and Spa offers several venues in which you may relax and/or soak up the sun: poolside, sundeck, tropical garden, tropical clothing optional courtyard with hot-tub. Continental Breakfast is served each morning, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening we feature our Sundown Happy Hour poolside with wines and hors d'ouevres. Wireless internet access is available throughout the resort. All newly renovated 33 rooms and suites feature a king size bed,
cable TV, VCR and/or DVD player, stereo radio/CD player, refrigerator with gourmet pantry, microwave oven, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, and hairdryer.
As the only gay resort with its' own full-service day spa and hair studio, we can offer our guests an experience that is unique and wonderfully indulgent. The Grand Resort and Spa is located on Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is located about 10 miles (20-25 minutes) from the resort. Miami International Airport is about 35 miles (45-60 minutes) from the resort.
The center of the gay community is Wilton Manors, about 15 minutes by car from the beach (about 7 miles). However, gay nightlife (bars and restaurants) is also sprinkled throughout Ft. Lauderdale. Taxis are readily available if you are not renting a car. A car is really necessary, however, if you want to take in all that the Ft Lauderdale and South Florida area has to offer.

Important information:
Ft. Lauderdale is a great place to relax and/or play. Our resort is 2 blocks from the ocean and about 6 blocks from Sebastian Street Beach (THE gay beach). Our clientele tends to range in age from late 20’s on up with the median age in the mid-40’s. About 60 percent of reservations are for couples. The remainder is singles or two friends sharing a room. Our guests are for the most part professional people – and genuinely friendly. A wonderful feature of The Grand Resort and Spa is the extremely large size of the property, so that you have choices of venues in which to relax, soak up the sun, and socialize. And with 33 rooms and suites, we have a wide variety of accommodations to choose from. |

RESERVATIONS:
All reservations can be reserved up to one year prior to your desired arrival date. We strongly suggest making reservations well in advance to make sure we are able to accommodate your requests. Holidays and special events tend to sell out quickly. When making reservations we can only guarantee the room type, not the room number. We will do our best to accommodate room requests, but cannot guarantee them.
Please inquire about minimum stay requirements during peak season, weekends, holidays, and special events. During peak season, we do require four night minimum stays for arrivals Thursday – Sunday. However, please inquire about shorter stays as booking patterns may allow for such.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In order to be fair to both parties, please be confident of your travel dates prior to reserving your accommodation. We are aware that circumstances may arise and will take all matters into consideration. All reservations cancelled within the allotted time period will be refunded their deposit less a $25.00 administrative fee. Please note that package reservations have different deposit and cancellation policies. Refer to package information on the Rates page.
PEAK SEASON (DEC. 23 THRU APRIL 30):
Cancellation must be made 14 days prior to your confirmed arrival date. Should your reservation be cancelled within 14 days of your arrival, you will be penalized in the amount of your first night's room and tax.
OFF SEASON (MAY 1 THRU DEC. 22):
Cancellation must be made 7 days prior to your confirmed arrival date. Should your reservation be cancelled within 7 days of your arrival, you will be penalized in the amount of your first night's room and tax.
HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS:
Reservations for the Thanksgiving time period require a TWO night deposit. Reservations for the Christmas - New Year's time period require a THREE night deposit. All holidays and special events require a 30 day prior to arrival cancellation for refund of your deposit less a $25.00 administrative fee. These periods include, but are not limited to the following: New Year's, Presidents' Day Weekend, Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Halloween, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
